CHICKADEE CAMP

This family cottage was carved out of an overgrown lot on the grounds of a great old summer camp. Set next door to their parents’ place, this new home wanted to feel fresh for a new generation, but intimately connected to the rhythms and memories of lots and lots of summers gone by. In the landscape easy spots abound for ditching bikes, running barefoot, grilling up lunch, plucking blueberries for breakfast, and gathering round an evening fire; while trails weave back and forth to both the waters’ edge and family next door.
