When the next generation of a family, already closely tied to this magical summer space, was ready to spread its wings - they didn’t have to look very far.  Building a classic coastal cottage in the backyard of their lovely existing family home, the landscape had some heavy-lifting to do:  establishing screening and separation between structures and uses, creating unique small destinations for privacy within the close compound, and defining a strong and beautiful new heart - a shared green space for pickup soccer games, wedding tents, and annual family photos alike!
